No, Kim Kardashian And Kylie Jenner DIDN'T Apply For Unemployment - Contrary to popular belief, Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner did NOT apply for unemployment benefits. However, some crooks in Michigan used their names to defraud the state out of thousands of dollars. Apparently someone filed unemployment claims in May 2020 under “Kimberly Kardashian” and “Kylie Jenner” with an address in Traverse City – about four hours northwest of Detroit. Since nobody bothered to check, those two got eight weeks of backdated unemployment pay – more than $7-thousand each. By the time the state’s fraud management software flagged the claims, it was too late. The reality stars weren’t the only targets. One fraudulent claim included a fake ID featuring a picture of John Krasinski. At this point, at least 13 people have been arrested for trying to game the system, and ten employees have been fired.
Fire In Beyonce/Jay-Z's NOLA Mansion May Have Been Arson - We told you that a home owned by Beyoncé and Jay-Z in New Orleans was damaged by fire. Now we have a few more details. The fire department could not be reached Thursday. At this point, the cops didn’t say how the fire started and what evidence indicated it was arson.
Angelina Jolie's Adopted Son May Not Have Been An Orphan - We told you that a new documentary was looking into Angelina Jolie’s 2002 adoption of her oldest son, Maddox. Even though she’s maintained that it was legit, one of her former friends says he’s not a hundred percent sure that the now 19-year-old was an orphan. Sarath Mounh, who ran a non-profit organization that operates independently of the Cambodian government, became a close friend of the Oscar winner during her visits to the country. He also played a role in the adoption process by signing legal documents stating that he was Maddox's real father. Even though he’s not, he did it to help her application approved quicker by the Cambodian courts. At this point, it’s not clear that she knew what was going on. In a recent interview, Sarath said, “I'm not 100 percent sure that Maddox was an orphan even though he came from an orphanage. At least one of the parents was possibly alive at the time of his adoption. But I never asked these difficult questions, nobody did.” He claimed that parents would either leave the babies at orphanages or sold to them because they couldn’t afford to take care of them. Angelina claims that she did everything she could to verify that Maddox’s parents weren’t alive. So far, she hasn’t commented on the film or Sarath’s take on the situation.
Courteney Cox Explains Viral Elton John Video - As you may recall, Courteney Cox teamed up with Elton John, Ed Sheeran and Brandi Carlile in honor of the “Friends” reunion last month. They performed “Tiny Dancer” with the incorrect lyrics made famous by Lisa Kudrow’s character Phoebe. In a new interview, Cox reveals how she made the viral video happen. The actress has been pals with Sheeran for nearly a decade now, and tells “Entertainment Weekly” that he and Carlile were staying at her house to celebrate Carlile’s 40th birthday. Sheeran asked if they’d mind if Elton John came over for dinner – and, duh, she said, “of course.” Cox said it was also Sheeran’s idea to perform the “Tony Danza” version of “Tiny Dancer.” So, Cox had her friend Joel Taylor teach her how to play the song, and the rest is viral history. She was nervous, and admittedly had only learned that one part of the song. But it was still “one of the greatest moments” of Cox’s life!
Barack Obama & Bruce Springsteen Releasing Book - Former President Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen are bringing their podcast to the page. About work, about family, and about America,” Obama shares. “In our own ways, Bruce and I have been on parallel journeys trying to understand this country that’s given us both so much.” Bruce adds, “Hard conversations about who we are and who we want to become can perhaps serve as a small guiding map for some of our fellow citizens,” noting, “This is a time for serious consideration of who we want to be and what kind of country we will leave our children.

"My kids wanna have their own identity, you know?” he says. "At first I took it personally, because I wanna be there to support them, but supporting them is by making them feel comfortable in what they're doing and them having their own identity too. It's very difficult."
Jillian Michaels Goes After Moving Company For Losing Her Stuff - Jillian Michaels called the cops on FlatRate Moving and Storage after she claims that they lost tens of thousands of dollars worth of her stuffin her move from Los Angeles to Miami. In addition, the items that made it to her were damaged. The fitness queen told authorities in Miami Gardens that she hired the movers in early June. In the report, she said that lots of clothes, tools, and outdoor furniture were nowhere to be found – totaling $30-thousand – and 80 percent of the items that arrived were damaged because of careless packing. Apparently, they picked up her stuff in late March and stored them in a storage facility for a few months. But on the delivery date, a lot of stuff didn’t make it to her place. It’s not clear if she’s alleging that the property was taken off the truck en route or stolen at the storage facility. “The Biggest Loser” trainer also has retained a lawyer with plans to file a civil lawsuit against FlatRate. A rep from the company says that they’re working with her to reach an amicable resolution. She claims that they’ve been completely uncooperative in the matter.

The 24-year-old made a guest appearance on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” yesterday… and he didn’t hold back when it came to dishing about the Consuelos fam. Michael recalled the time he was almost barred from a family vacation to Italy because of his “Brooklyn hipster” hair. Ripa said he looked like a “caveman,” or like a “forgotten member” of “Peaky Blinders,” saying he wasn’t allowed on the vacay if he didn’t get a haircut. After roasting Michael’s hair, Ripa set her sights on his brother Joaquin – who Michael outed for snoring. “Michael, as the first child, we were very spoiled by him -- hard worker, diligent, nice person," she said. “I call Michael 'the heir' and Joaquin 'the spare.’ It really drives Joaquin bonkers."

They were also upset at how some quotes from the article were taken out of context to promote the piece. Halsey noted, "Your admin bastardized a quote where I discuss the privilege of being the white child of a Black parent and intentionally used a portion that was the antithesis of the point I was trying to make," adding, “do f***ing better,” and finishing the tweets with “#NoMorePress goodbye.” The “Allure” article has since been edited to include both pronouns, which could be why she took down her tweets.
