"Spinal Tap II" In The Works - If you loved “This is Spinal Tap,” you’ll be glad to know a sequel is in the works. Castle Rock Entertainment is relaunching their film division, and the sequel to the rock mockumentary is its first project.  “Spinal Tap II” will feature Rob Reiner directing the sequel and playing filmmaker Marty DiBergi. Also back are Michael McKean, Harry Shearer, and Christopher Guest – better known as rockers David St. Hubbins, Derek Smalls, and Nigel Tufnel, respectively.  For the record, “This is Spinal Tap” was released to critical acclaim in 1984. In 2002, it was deemed “culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant” by the Library of Congress, and was selected for preservation by the National Film Registry.

Matt Damon Slammed for Crypto Currency Ads - Matt Damon is appearing in an ad for – and getting slammed for it. The ad, which you can see on the right, actually started running in October and features the phrase, “Fortune Favors the Brave.”  When it first came out, everything was lovely for the blockchain-centered technology. But now that the crypto market is crashing, everyone wants to call the Oscar winner to the carpet for promoting it. For the record, the largest cryptocurrency – Bitcoin – has lost more than 17 percent of its value in the last five days. Over the last six months, Bitcoin has lost more than 50 percent of its value. Less known coins are getting annihilated with some losing more than 90 percent of their value.  Some of the comments include, “Matt Damon was in Oceans 11, 12, 13. You crypto guys just fell victim to his latest heist.” Others are wondering who will play Matt in a movie about the Bitcoin collapse. While Larry David and other celebs are doing ads, Matt seems to be the easy choice.

Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker Appear to Have Wedding Shower - Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker appeared to be hosting a wedding shower in Palm Springs, California yesterday. Their friends posted pictures from what looked to be an epic celebration.  H20’s Toby Morse posted a selfie to his Instagram Story of himself lounging with a congratulatory message. “Beautiful Day Today! Thanks for having us and congrats,” he wrote, plus the hashtag “#YoureSoCool,” a reference to “True Romance,” one of Travis and Kourtney’s favorite movies. In the windows behind him, you could see “Kravis 4ever” spelled out in balloon letters. Phil Riportella shared a photo of a skull cookie, fitting for their love of skeletons. The couple also posted a few videos of themselves watching a poolside screening of “Edward Scissorhands,” which seemed to end the night.

Ashley Judd Confirms Mother Naomi’s Cause Of Death - Ashley Judd has confirmed in a new interview that her mother, Country Music Hall of Famer Naomi Judd, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. As we reported separately, Naomi died April 30th at the age of 76. Among the highlights:

“She used a weapon…my mother used a firearm,” Ashley told Diane Sawyer in an interview to air on “Good Morning America.” “So   that’s the piece of information that we are very uncomfortable sharing, but understand that we’re in a position that if we don’t say it someone else is going to.”

Ashley calls Naomi’s final day a “mixed day,” noting that she was over the house for a visit when it happened. “Mom said to me, ‘Will            you stay with me?’ and I said, ‘Of course I will,’" Ashley shares. “I went upstairs to let her know that her good friend was there             and I discovered her. I have both grief and trauma from discovering her.”

Ashley shared that her family chose her to talk about her mother’s tragic death in order to get the information out before others   reported it. They also chose to speak to help others who may be struggling with mental illness like her mother.

Ashley pointed out that her mother’s condition was so bad she “couldn’t hang on” one day to see her Country Music Hall of Fame induction. “That is the level of catastrophe of what was going on inside of her,” she says, “because the barrier between the regard in which they held her couldn’t penetrate into her heart, and the lie the disease told her was so convincing.”

Sources: The El Moussas And Halls Are Trying To Move Forward: After their recent soccer fight went public, Christina Haack, Tarek El Moussa, and Heather Rae El Moussa are embarrassed and just want to put the entire incident behind them. Meagan Good Reflects on How She's Changing Amid Divorce: Meagan Good filed for divorce from DeVon Franklin, her husband of nine years, in December. She opened up on how she’s been dealing with things. “I've learned to not be as much of a people pleaser,” she said. “I've learned that not everybody's going to get you or like you, and that's okay. And knowing who your tribe is and being really thankful for that, and knowing sometimes they're not your tribe — that's okay too.” For the time being, she is focused on “loving and treating people with respect regardless, and never letting how people treat you change the integrity of who you want to be. I think in this season especially, I'm learning to live again in a different way.”

Gabourey Sidibe Isn't Looking For a Traditional Wedding Vibe: When Gabourey Sidibe says, “I do,” to Brandon Frankel, next spring, the one thing it won’t be is traditional. “I'm super against tradition,” she told Brides magazine for their Style issue. “I definitely don't need a white dress. My favorite look [from the shoot] was the pink African print. Honestly, whatever I wear on the wedding day will probably be African print. It might have a little white, so it looks like a wedding dress, but it's definitely going to be colorful.”

Since then, the two have exchanged words on social media but now Williams says she’d like to sit down with Shepherd to talk, with her attorney LaShawn Thomas saying that her client has “no ill will” toward Shepherd. Insiders say that no matter what happens, it’s “logistically” impossible for Williams to get her show back. I mean, are you gonna see a moment that, you know, you will probably be like, ‘Is that Erika?’ And the answer is yeah. I mean, that was me.”  Erika went on to say that between her legal issues and her issues with the women, she’s had a hard time. “At that time, it was really difficult because there were moments that I didn’t wanna get out of bed — more than moments, there were days and you have to do that,” she said. “It’s not that I was drinking a lot. It’s just that I was drinking while being medicated.” You can see how it turned on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” which airs Wednesdays on Bravo.

It really is a huge comfort, a huge relief in the beginning. Maybe even the first few years for me because I did start really young with that as a comfort, as my coping mechanism.”  Selma also spoke about how her drinking – which continued for decades – put her in the position to be raped multiple times. Once, during a spring break trip, an assault got violent after a day of binge drinking. “I don't know if both of them raped me. One of them definitely did,” she writes. “I made myself small and quiet and waited for it to be over. I wish I could say what happened to me that night was an anomaly, but it wasn't. I have been raped, multiple times, because I was too drunk to say the words, ‘Please. Stop.’ Only that one time was violent. I came out of each event quiet and ashamed.” “Mean Baby” comes out Tuesday.

The teaming was supposed to help decrease emissions on their “Music of the Spheres Tour,” but some critics have pointed out that Neste doesn’t have the best reputation when it comes to the environment.  “Neste is cynically using Coldplay to greenwash its reputation,” Carlos Calvo Ambel, senior director for the Transport & Environment campaign group, said in a statement. “This is a company that is linked to the kind of deforestation that would appall Chris Martin and his fans."  Urging the band to drop the partnership, Ambel noted, "Coldplay's commitment to reduce its emissions is no doubt well-intentioned. But teaming up with a company linked to deforestation makes them useful idiots for greenwashing."  Well, Coldplay was quick to comment on the criticism. "When we announced this tour, we said that we would try our best to make it as sustainable and low carbon-impact as possible, but that it would be a work in progress,” they responded, “That remains true. We don't claim to have got it all right yet.” They also insist Neste guaranteed “they do not use any virgin materials in their production,” adding, “It's still our understanding that they use renewable waste products only, like cooking oil and byproducts from wood pulp manufacture."

Oscar nominee James Cromwell superglued himself to a New York City Starbucks counter in protest of the fact that the company charges extra to use plant-based milk in drinks. In a protest that was live-streamed to Facebook by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) activists, the “L.A. Confidential” actor superglued himself to the counter before delivering a statement about the company’s surcharge for vegan milk options and its impact on both the environment and on communities of color. Cromwell, who can be seen wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with the words “free the animals,” argued that vegan milk options were better for the environment. He also claimed that charging more for them was discriminatory — particularly because minorities suffer from lactose intolerance at a higher rate than white Americans do — but also because he felt that those who chose vegan options as a matter of conscience were being penalized for making a moral choice.
