Michael B. Jordan Shopping Around A "Battlefield" Movie - Michael B. Jordan is developing a film adaptation of the popular “Battlefield” video game, with Christopher McQuarrie set to write, direct, and produce. Jordan is also set to produce, and may star in the feature, though that isn't not confirmed at this time. Plot details are under wraps as well. The video game franchise focuses on large-scale multiplayer warfare, and has had stories in the past, present, and futuristic settings, which doesn’t really narrow things down. At this point, the movie is being shopped around, with a theatrical release being targeted.

Ellen DeGeneres Reprises "Dory" Role For "Finding Nemo" Short - Ellen DeGeneres is returning to the world of Disney animation in a new short. "Deadline" is reporting that the comedian is once again voicing Dory, the blue tang fish with memory problems from the "Finding Nemo" universe. No other details are available, including what the short is about and how fans will be able to see it. DeGeneres has provided the voice of Dory for two feature films, as well as Disney theme park attractions and in various shorts and cross-platform integrations.

"Legend Of Aang: The Last Airbender" Leaker Faces Serious Jail Time - An arrest has been made in connection with the leak of the upcoming animated film "The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender," and if found guilty, the person responsible could see some serious jail time. A 26-year-old man has been detained in Singapore for leaking the animated film after he allegedly accessed a media server without authorization. If convicted, the suspect could face up to seven years in prison, a fine of up to $50-thousand or both. The film was originally slated to premiere in theaters on October 10, 2025, but was eventually shifted to a streaming premiere on Paramount+ this fall.

"The Boys" Spinoff "Gen V" Canceled After Two Seasons - "Gen V," the first spinoff series from "The Boys," didn't turn out to be as successful as the series that spawned it. Prime Video has declined to re-up the series for a third season, which means the streamer will lose both "The Boys" (which comes to a conclusion after its fifth season) and one of its two spin-offs. The other, "Vought Rising," is set to premiere next year. "Gen V" got off to a fast start, earning an early renewal midway through its first season, but the untimely death of series star Chance Perdomo led to production delays from which the series never fully recovered.

"Wuthering Heights" Streaming Date Set - The most recent big screen adaptation of "Wuthering Heights" will soon be available to watch at home. The hit film, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, is set to premiere on HBO Max this coming Friday, before debuting on HBO the following day at 8pm ET. The film, which also stars Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes and Ewan Mitchell, made $84-million at the US box office since it opened in February, while earning $241-million globally.

"Hazbin Hotel" Renewed For Fifth And Final Season - The YouTube sensation-turned-Prime Video hit "Hazbin Hotel" has been renewed for a fifth and final season, with a premiere date yet to be determined. The news was revealed Saturday during the show’s panel at LVL UP Expo. In a statement, series creator Vivienne Medrano said, "I’m so thankful for how Prime Video has championed our vision at SpindleHorse, and I’m grateful for their partnership and commitment to bringing 'Hazbin Hotel' to its epic conclusion. I’m so excited for fans to see how this story ends." The adult animated series tells the story of Charlie, the princess of Hell, as she attempts to rehabilitate demons to peacefully reduce overpopulation in her kingdom.

Helena Bonham Carter Leaving "The White Lotus," Role To Be Recast - Helena Bonham Carter has exited season four of “The White Lotus” as her role undergoes major changes ahead of filming. In a statement, HBO explained, “With filming just underway on Season 4 of ‘The White Lotus,’ it had become apparent that the character which Mike White created for Helena Bonham Carter did not align once on set,” adding, “The role has subsequently been rethought, is being rewritten and will be recast in the coming weeks." The network noted, “HBO, the producers and Mike White are saddened that they won't get to work with her, but remain ardent fans and very much hope to work with the legendary actress on another project soon.” Season 4 of the hit series is set in France during the Cannes Film Festival. Audio From "Summer House" Reunion Is Leaked - Audio has leaked from the upcoming “Summer House” season ten reunion. The clip features Ciara Miller accusing Amanda Batula of betraying her by dating her ex, West Wilson. Miller slams Batula, saying, “There are a million other [ ] guys in New York City…you chose the one guy,” and calls her a “snake.”  Her friend Mia Calabrese piles on, criticizing Batula’s relationship as “crazy” and “unnecessary.” Batula defends herself, explaining, “It was all so new and I was figuring it out,” and adds, “you can’t help who you like.” But it doesn’t end there…as Miller points out that Batula is still legally married; Batula fires back saying she doesn’t need to stay “celibate” while separated.  Bravo, meanwhile, has condemned the leak as a “serious breach of trust.” They quickly performed an investigation and found that the leak was an “unauthorized recording” shared by someone involved in production of the reunion. The network shared in a statement that "appropriate action has been taken,” and a source spilled to “TMZ” that the person responsible has been fired. There is reportedly no evidence anyone on the cast was involved in the leak. Bravo has also noted “we caution all parties and platforms to refrain from posting, sharing, or amplifying any unauthorized audio.” The “Summer House” season ten reunion will air on Bravo on May 26th at 8PM Eastern.

Ray J had argued they violated a settlement by discussing the tape on “The Kardashians,” but the court agreed the contract requires such disputes to be handled privately.  But Ray J’s bad luck doesn’t end there. Only Ray J’s countersuit moves to arbitration, while a defamation case filed by Kim and Kris against him, following Ray J’s claims that Kim and Kris were under investigation for racketeering, remains in court. Their lawyer, Alex Spiro, shared with “TMZ” that “We expected the court to rule in our favor and we're pleased with the decision.”

Running as an independent, but previously registered as a Republican, Pratt says he felt compelled to enter the race, claiming wildfire reports tied to Bass were “altered” to hide negligence. Her office has firmly denied those accusations.  Pratt said in a February interview with NBC “I don’t want to be running for mayor,” adding he’d rather be at home with his family but felt he had “no choice.” That said, it sounds like his sister Stephanie Pratt also doesn’t want him for mayor.  She accused him in February of running for mayor in a bid to “stay famous. “Spencer has done great work for the palisades,” she wrote on X, adding, “But LA does not need another unqualified and inexperienced mayor…A vote for him is a vote for stupidity.”

Unfortunately, the post came about 20 minutes after a gunman fired shots in the hotel hosting the White House Correspondent's Dinner. Many on the Internet, including Congresswoman Nancy Mace, misconstrued the post as being something else entirely. Mace responded to the post with "Got what done?" while Richard Grenell, former director of the Kennedy Center, simply said in response:"“Wtf?" One X user spelled out what many were assuming was Stiller's intent: "Sorry Ben; your guy missed. I really wish your side would stop trying to assassinate people you disagree with." No comment from Stiller's camp on the matter.

"Wicked" Star Marissa Bode Says Airline Denied Her Boarding Due To Her Disability: "Wicked" actor Marissa Bode claims she was denied boarding on a Southern Airways flight because of her disability. Bode (as seen in the "Wicked" movies) is confined to a wheelchair after a childhood car accident left her paralyzed. The actor explained what happened with the airline on TikTok. "I got to the gate and was like, 'Hey, could you help me locate my boarding pass?' And the two people at the gate look at me and they're like, 'Can you stand?' And I said, 'No.' And they said, 'I'm sorry, because of that we're gonna have to deny you boarding,'" she claimed. Bode said she was forced to drive three and a half hours to her final destination, adding that the airline "should be ashamed." In a statement, Southern Airways called the actress’s experience upsetting and said it "does not reflect the standard to which we hold ourselves."

Dutch Influencer Jade Kops Has Died: Some sad news to share - Dutch influencer Jada Kops has died from a rare form of cancer. She was just 19 years old. This comes just two weeks after Jada wrote a heartbreaking note to her “annoying tumor,” asking it to give her more time with her family and friends. Her family shared the sad news on Insta to her almost 450,000 followers, saying she died early Friday morning and was surrounded by her loved ones when it happened. Jada’s passing comes about 5 years after she was diagnosed

with rhabdomyosarcoma, which is a cancer that usually affects children under 10 years old; it starts in soft tissues, usually muscle.

Actor From Katy Perry’s "Teenage Dream" Music Video Says Singer Humiliated Them - Katy Perry’s co-star Josh Kloss from her 2010 “Teenage Dream” music video says he has lived with “silent trauma” for years after the singer allegedly exposed his genitals at a party without consent. Kloss first spoke about the incident publicly in 2019 and Katy’s pals, Marsha Molinari and Johnny Wujek, would claim Kloss was a liar and an “obsessed fan.”  Explaining why he is speaking out again, Kloss said he felt it was “important” to be “brave” and “show my face and explain myself,” following Ruby Rose’s bombshell claims that Perry sexually assaulted her too.
