Luke Skywalker's Light Saber Sells For $3.75-Million - The Force is definitely with you... if you have the money. An iconic piece of Hollywood (and "Star Wars") history has just sold for a record price. Heritage Auctions announced that Mark Hamill’s original screen-used Luke Skywalker lightsaber sold for $3.75-million. It’s the one he used during a climactic face-off with Darth Vader in 1980’s "Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back." The selling price set a new world auction record for a screen-used "Star Wars" prop.

Filming Wraps On Latest Film In The "John Wick" Universe - For fans of all things "John Wick," we have good news. Donnie Yen, who played blind assassin Caine in "John Wick: Chapter 4," posted on Instagram that filming on the upcoming movie about his character is finished. "That's a wrap," he captioned a pic of him holding a clapboard with the film's title ("Caine") on it. The film follows the events of the fourth "John Wick" film, and stars Yen along with Rina Sawayama as Akira, with Dacre Montgomery ("Stranger Things") and Bill Nighy appearing in undisclosed roles. The film is expected to premiere sometime in 2027.

"Mickey Mouse Club" Is Getting A Reboot - Disney+ has ordered a pilot reboot of "The Mickey Mouse Club," introducing a new generation of Mouseketeers. Filming is underway in Los Angeles with a cast that includes Hudson Stone, Casey Trotter, Brooklynn Pitts and several other young performers. Disney describes the series in a press release as a “showcase for today’s most talented young performers, where music, innovation, and self-expression take center stage.” The franchise has launched the careers of stars in the past including Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Ryan Gosling, and Keri Russell.

You Can Play "Stranger Things" Minigolf On Netflix Now - Netflix is expanding its gaming lineup with "Netflix Minigolf," a couch co-op party game launching July 28th for subscribers at no extra cost. The game pits players against each other across more than 60 minigolf levels inspired by "Stranger Things," "Squid Game," and "Bridgerton." CD Sales Skyrocket In Above Vinyl Sales Growth - People are buying CDs again. In fact, they’re buying a lot of CDs again. Luminate just put out its midyear report, and they’re saying CD sales in the US have jumped 16-percent, jumping to 16.3-million in sales, outpacing the 2.4-precent sales growth of vinyl as fans are apparently looking for collectibles that are a bit more affordable. The rise in CD sales was driven partly by K-pop, with CD sales rising just 6.7-percent if you don’t include the K-pop releases. That said, vinyl sells more copies overall than CDs. R&B and hip-hop, meanwhile, remains the most-streamed genres, while dance, country, and Latin music are all gaining ground in streaming. K-pop is showing some real strength there as well, with Luminate noting that the Korean language is now “the third most popular language for music in America.”

Lana did admit that “Spyda” isn’t done yet, and she needs about another month to finish it before both albums can be sent to vinyl. Neither has a release date just yet.
