Netflix Announces New Episodes Of "3 Body Problem," But No Renewal - Yet: The hit Netflix sci-fi series "3 Body Problem" isn't coming to an end, and hasn't been renewed - it's somewhere in between. The streamer announced this week that it ordered “additional episodes” instead of a new, full Season 2 order. In a press release, Netflix said that the exact number of seasons and episodes will be announced at a later date. A betting man would put money on a renewal at some point; the series debuted in March and spent three weeks in the No. 1 position on the Netflix Top 10, plus another four weeks lower on the chart. It also scored a 79-percent on Rotten Tomatoes, all of which made it a big hit for the platform.
