Art Walk Central ends August 24, 2024

-Art Walk Central is a unique art competition featuring almost 60 artists – it is also a community art infusion! The month-long event offers artists the opportunity to display their art in a public setting, with prizes awarded for both jurors and people’s choice. Additionally, everyone is invited to register   and vote for his or her favorite piece(s).  Throughout the month, there is a wide range of art activities offered for children and adults alike.

-New for 2024 the competition has been expanded to include youth artists!

-Over $6,500 in prize money will be awarded to artists in youth, teen and adult categories. The public is invited to vote for their favorite art pieces, and two jurors will select the top juried winners.  This year’s jurors are Leslie Donaldson and Joey Quiñones. 

-People's Choice voting: The public is invited to cast their vote, using tokens that can be picked up at Art Reach or the CMU Art Gallery during Art Walk Central. EVERYONE can vote!

-Art work for this competition will be displayed in public spaces, local businesses & at the CMU University Art Gallery
